VHP with allegations against missionaries

New Delhi
VHP National General Secretary Milind Parande has said that the list of 56 Christian missionaries carrying out illegal conversions in Madhya Pradesh has been handed over to the authorities. Parande announced at a press conference that the next goal is to prevent conversion as the Ram temple construction fundraiser has been completed.

The VHP lauded the Madhya Pradesh government for bringing in legislation to curb conversion. Parande said there was a massive conspiracy to convert in Jabuwa, Alirajpur, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain and Mandsaur districts of Malwa region and a mission called Dharma Prasar Vibhag was formed to prevent this. Activists also called for action to prevent conversion.

Alirajpur Collector Surabhi Gupta said the VHP had received the complaint but did not name anyone. Indore and Dhar collectors said no complaint had been received. The VHP plan states that the Sangh Parivar is finding every issue to continue the communal polarization effort after the construction of the Ram temple.
