Victor Orban back in Hungary; 35 percent of the vote for the opposition

Budapest‌
Amid controversy, far-right Prime Minister Victor Orban has received a fourth time period in Hungary. The suitable-wing social gathering, Fidesz, received 53 % of the vote, in comparison with 94 % for 199 seats. 35 % of the vote for the opposition.

The election in Hungary came about in opposition to the backdrop of the Ukraine-Russia struggle. Victor Orban’s response was that Christian democratic politics, orthodox politics, and patriotic politics had succeeded. “This is the future of Europe,” he stated.

Victor Orban has been broadly criticized by the European Union for corruption and violations of democracy. An alliance of six opposition events competed in opposition to Orban’s conservative politics for 12 years. Opposition chief Peter Marquez stated in an announcement that Fidesz had “done everything humanly possible” and that hatred and lies have been his social gathering’s weapon of propaganda.
