Waterloo will be built for K-Rail project Pinarayi Vijayan, Congress gave a stern warning to the government

State Congress president Ok Sudhakaran on Saturday warned Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan towards going forward with the Ok-Rail or Silverline mission, as it could ultimately turn into his ‘Waterloo’. Sudhakaran stated, “If Vijayan does not understand the pulse of the people here and their attitude towards K-Rail, what happened in Bengal will happen with Vijayan here and finally the last CPI(M) stronghold in the country will also come out of the window.” Will go. Ok-Rail shall be Vijayan’s Waterloo.”

He said Vijayan was fooling people by saying that commercial banks would give loans to those whose land has been identified by K-Rail.

The Chief Minister is misleading the people and even though he has been claiming, the banks have not said any such thing. Sudhakaran said that he is only trying to cheat the people.

Sudhakaran said, “No pressure (be it police or military) in Kerala will be capable of drive away the protesters, as they’re combating a official battle. We shall be with the folks and go to any extent to see that.” Will go if the project comes to a standstill.”

Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satisan stated the Congress-led UDF has began protesting towards Ok-Rail and other people have realized that the mission will do extra hurt than good.

“The power of the people is our strength and no force or threat will stop us, as we are determined to see that the protest will end only when the project is closed,” Satisan stated.

If accomplished, the Ok-Rail mission will see a 529.45 km hall connecting Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod, consisting of semi-high velocity trains overlaying the space in about 4 hours.

Each the Congress and the BJP say the mission isn’t wanted for Kerala, as they are saying the massive value can be greater than Rs 1.50 lakh crore and can be an environmental and financial catastrophe and would put a heavy burden on the following era.
