Guwahati: News of violence has been circulating in the state since the grassroots came to power. Somewhere in the party office and somewhere in the house of the opposition party, the incident of vandalism is coming to the fore. Even BJP state president Dilip Ghosh has claimed that 8 people have been killed in the post-poll violence. The Union Home Ministry has called for a report to the state government after such violence spread across the state.

On the other hand, the results of five other states besides Bengal were announced on 2 May. But there have been no reports of violence from other states. Meanwhile, former Assam Education Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma has stabbed former West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee in a tweet. Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee resigned after meeting the governor on Monday.

Former Assam Education Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma tweeted, “It’s been 24 hours since the BJP won in Assam. A Congress worker was not even mocked, let alone beaten. But the sisters and grandfathers of Bengal have created an atmosphere of terror, BJP workers are being killed, does the civilized society see the difference? ”

Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee held a press conference from her home in Kalighat on Monday. Although he mentioned that there was violence in Shitalkuchi and Burdwan, he fired back at the BJP. He said the BJP was alleging violence by showing old pictures. It is their nature. I know them well.
