He alleged in an open letter, “The BJP and its allies in West Bengal have suddenly become very aggressive. These colleagues also include the Sangh. I did not take the name of the Sangh earlier, but now I am being forced to mention its name. All of them have started a propaganda campaign in the state.”
Mamta stated, “These forces are using the background of an unfortunate incident on provocation. They are using this background to do divisive politics. They are planning to play the game of ‘divide and rule’. It is frightening.”
