WABetaInfo acknowledged that emoji reactions have began showing in beta model 2.22.8.3 of the service’s Android app, The Verge reported.
The Message Reactions characteristic consists of 6 emoji reactions specifically – Like, Love, Chortle, Stunned, Unhappy and Thanks.
WhatsApp seems to be rolling out the characteristic on Android in phases, and we have been unable to get it to look ourselves. Alongside its look on Android, there are indicators that emoji reactions are additionally on the way in which for the service’s iOS and desktop functions.
