Wholesale inflation in the country reached a 4-month high, stood at 2.36% in October.

Earlier on Tuesday, retail inflation figures have been revealed. Retail inflation stood at 6.21 p.c in October. In September it was 5.49 p.c. The rationale for the rise in retail inflation fee was attributed to the sharp improve within the costs of greens final month. Vegetable costs have elevated by 42.18 p.c in October.
