World: ‘The vicious cycle of violence in Gaza must end’ and Iranians mourn the death of Brigadier General Mousavi

1000’s of Iranians gathered in Tehran on Thursday for the funeral of senior Revolutionary Guard commander Brigadier General Seyed Razi Mousavi, three days after he was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Syria. In line with studies, folks chanted ‘Dying to Israel’ and ‘Dying to America’ at Tehran’s Imam Hussein Sq..

Iranian media studies stated, “Many of the mourners were waving yellow flags with the message ‘I am your rival’ a reference to Israel.”

IRGC spokesman Ramzan Sharif stated, “Our response to the killing of Mousavi will be a combination of direct action as well as action by others led by the axis of resistance.”

Brigadier General Mousavi was killed in an airstrike within the Sayida Zainab space close to the Syrian capital, Damascus. He was a high-ranking official within the IRGC and was coordinating Iran’s army operations in Syria.
