
Seven UN peacekeepers have been killed and three significantly injured in an explosion in Mali. In a press release on Wednesday, the United Nations Multidisciplinary Built-in Stabilization Mission (MINUSMA) in Mali stated the logistics convoy was hit by an explosion within the Bandiagara space, Xinhua information company reported.
In current days, 4 MINUSMA camps in northern Mali have been the goal of assaults, in keeping with the UN Secretary-General’s Particular Consultant and Head of State Minusma al-Ghasim Wain.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned Wednesday’s incident and expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved households of the victims who have been from Togo and wished the injured a speedy restoration.
