Zeeshan Siddiqui joins NCP, announces to contest elections from Bandra East Assembly seat.
New Delhi: After being expelled from the Congress in August, Zeeshan Siddiqui on Friday introduced his becoming a member of the Ajit Pawar-led Nationwide Congress Party (NCP). The celebration has declared him as its candidate from Bandra East. On getting the ticket, Siddiqui mentioned, “Leaders of Congress and Maha Vikas Aghadi contacted me, but their intention was to cheat.” He additionally refused to touch upon Congress, saying “they are always under pressure from Shiv Sena (UBT).”
Zeeshan had received the Bandra East seat as a Congress candidate within the 2019 meeting elections, however the Congress later expelled him from the celebration.
