Lok Sabha election sixth phase: Campaigning ends on 58 seats, these big leaders are in the fray

Campaigning in Tamluk, Kanthi, Ghatal, Jhargram, Medinipur, Purulia, Bankura and Bishnupur Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal ended at 6 pm on Thursday.

Within the final spherical of voting within the state, 73.63 lakh males, 71.70 lakh girls and 133 transgender voters will train their franchise at 15,600 polling stations.

A complete of 79 candidates try their luck on eight Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal, out of which most 13 candidates every are from Bankura and Jhargram, 12 from Purulia and 9 every from Medinipur and Tamluk.

Seven candidates every are contesting from Bishnupur and Ghatal Lok Sabha seats, an election official stated.
