MOSCOW: Russian authorities say they’ve foiled a touchdown within the Kherson area by Ukrainian subversion teams skilled in Britain.
An FSB assertion on Thursday, quoted by Xinhua information company, mentioned the touchdown was “planned by British special services” and was foiled by the Russian Federal Safety Service (FSB) and the Russian Defense Ministry. .
It mentioned one Ukrainian soldier was captured alive and the soldier confirmed that the saboteurs had been skilled in Britain.
The FSB mentioned the Particular Boat Service, a British maritime particular forces unit, was monitoring the actions of Ukrainian forces behind such operations, which “indicate Britain's direct involvement in the war”.
