Center issues advisory against mobile calls impersonating DoT

New Delhi: The Division of Telecommunications (DoT) on Friday issued an advisory to residents concerning calls impersonating as DoT, threatening folks with blocking of cell numbers.

Residents are receiving such calls during which callers within the title of DoT are threatening that every one their cell numbers will likely be disconnected or that their cell numbers are being misused for any unlawful actions.
