President’s Police Medal to 36 police officers and personnel including two IPS from Jharkhand
Ranchi: On the event of Republic Day-2024, the Union Home Ministry has awarded Police Medal to a complete of 36 law enforcement officials and personnel together with two IPS officers of Jharkhand. Of those, 23 law enforcement officials and personnel have been awarded the Gallantry Medal, 12 law enforcement officials and personnel have been awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Service and one police officer has been awarded the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service. A notification on this regard has been issued by the Home Division.

IG Operation Amol Vinukant Homkar, DSP Mohd Parvez Alam, Inspector Taramani Tete, ASI Bhim Lal Mahato, ASI Etwa Oraon, Havildar Santosh Kumar, Havildar Anil Das, Havildar Jeevan Jyotish Tirkey, Havildar Ram Bahadur, Havildar Sylvester Kerketta, Havildar Chakradhar Kumar Mahato and Reserve poem Vivek.
